Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: [DATE — set on publish]
Nothing is charged until you upgrade
When you sign up, we may save a payment method on file without charging it. You are charged only if and when you choose to upgrade to a paid plan. At that point you'll see the exact price before you confirm.
Cancelling
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from the billing portal linked in your account — no email required, no retention hoops. When you cancel, your paid features stay active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Refunds
If you're not happy with a paid plan, contact us within [14 days — to confirm] of your first charge and we'll refund that charge in full. After that window, monthly charges are generally non-refundable, but if something went wrong on our end, tell us — we'll make it right.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
Failed or disputed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we'll retry it and let you know so you can update your card before losing access. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute.
